I went through the recipes and made a list of the equipment we will need. I then tried to match it up with what was available in the props catalogue.

Questions of colour for accessibility
I asked Caitlin about using whether using white plates could cause an issue for people with visual acuity and/or colour blindness. She said (emphasis mine):
This is such an interesting question. I would apply the same thinking that we use when we think of colour contrast and online documents. I don’t think white is a bad suggestion but looking online it looks like red or bright blue is the recommended colour of dinner sets for people with low visibility. https://www.thewrightstuff.com/redware-tableware.html
I think white would suit for the majority of accessibility needs as I worry that red and bright blue might deter from the food for people with cognitive or processing issues.
So it looks like we should be fine going for the white plates and bowls.
