It's normal to have a lot of questions about the effects of stroke and living well after a stroke. We have a lot of information available on our website.

But if you want to speak with someone over the phone, our Stroke Helpline is a place for information and support. The Helpline provides information about stroke and its effects, what happens after a stroke, or what help and support are available. You may have many questions, be looking for some information and practical guidance, or simply want someone to talk to.

If you or someone you know has been affected by stroke, or you want to know more information on how to reduce your risk of a stroke, please get in touch.

Please contact the Helpline by phone 0303 3033 100 or by email helpline@stroke.org.uk.

If you have sent an email, our team of Helpline Officers will aim to respond within five working days.

If the Helpline is closed, you can use our out of hours contacts.

For more general information about the Helpline visit their webpage https://www.stroke.org.uk/finding-support/stroke-helpline

Opening hours are subject to change according to UK public holidays.

If you want to find more information online, My Stroke Guide is a website that acts as a self-help resource and tool for stroke survivors, carers and also health professionals.

We hope the above helps, if you need any further help please do not hesitate to get in touch.
