How to set your status message

This guide explains how to use status message feature on the Online Community. A status is a short message that tells people if you are away or when you will be next available.
This guide will show you how to:
Set a status
Change or remove your status
See someone else's status
How to set a status
Click your profile picture in the top right of the homepage.
Click on the grey person icon in the bottom right of the menu.
Then click Set custom status.
At the top, there is a box that says “What are you doing?” This is where you type your status message. Your status is limited to 100 characters, you can also choose an emoji to appear next to your status. This will appear next to your username in posts, topics, your usercard, and profile.
Under that, there is a tick box called Pause notifications. If you tick this, you will not get notifications while the status is on.
Next, there is a section called Remove status. This lets you choose when the status will be removed.
You can choose:
In one hour
In two hours
Tomorrow
Custom date and time
Never (the status stays until you remove it)
When you want to activate your status, click the blue Save button at the bottom. If you do not want to save your status, click Cancel.
How to change or remove your status
Click on your profile picture.
Click on the grey person icon in the bottom right of the menu.
Then click on your status message.
To change your status, simply type a new message and then click the blue Save button at the bottom.
To remove your status completely, click on the red bin button.
How to see someone else’s status
In posts and topics, you may see an emoji next to a username. This emoji shows a status message. Hover your mouse over the emoji to see the message.
You can also click the profile picture to open the user card and show you the status.
The status message will also appear on the profile page.
Please note: If the “hide my public profile” setting is turned on, your status message will not appear.
