How to post a comment or start a thread
What this guide is about
If you want to ask a question, share your experience, or start a discussion, you can do this by creating a new topic in the Online Community.
This guide will show you how to:
Start a new topic.
Write and format your post.
Add images or pictures.
How to start a new topic
Click the grey "New Topic" button on the right side of the screen, just above the list of Latest topics.
A new text box will appear at the bottom of the screen.
In the title box, type a short description of what your post is about.
Tip: The first time you post, a message may appear on the right with topic suggestions. You can close this by clicking the X in the top right corner.
Type your question, story, or discussion in the text box on the left side.
A preview of your post will appear on the right side.
When you're ready, click the blue "+ Create Topic" button at the bottom.
How to add an image to your post
Look for the small picture icon in the text editor.
On mobile, this icon may appear at the bottom of the screen.
On desktop, clicking the icon will open your file explorer.
If you're on a computer, choose an image from your files.
If you're on a mobile or tablet, you may be asked to:
Select a photo from your gallery.
Take a new photo.
If you are on your laptop or desktop PC, you can also "Copy and Paste" the image into your post if that is easier for you.
Once you have added your picture, you have the option to resize or remove it if you need to. To see this, just hover over the image in the "Preview".
Clicking the percentages will resize the image. Clicking the red bin icon will remove it.
