The Stroke Association and AbilityNet are working together to support more people affected by stroke to access technology and be part of the digital community. AbilityNet is a registered charity (supported by IBM and Microsoft) whose focus is to change the lives of disabled and older people by helping them to use digital technology.

Digital support services

  1. Telephone help and support - a volunteer will sit on the phone with you and work through your capabilities and help and support you however they can.

  2. My Computer My Way - free online guides to all the accessibility features built into current computers, laptops, tablets and smartphones that can help you adapt your device, making it easier to use.
