By default, the Forum will show you the different topics and posts arranged by Category. But sometimes you just want to see what has been posted most recently.

You can use the buttons at the top of the forum to switch from a Category view to see the Latest posts (or even the most popular or Top posts).

Clicking the “Latest” button will show you the most recent posts with a line indicating what has been added since your last visit. Clicking “Top” will show you the most popular posts.

This will only change your view of posts right at that moment, the next time you look at the forum home page, you will see the posts organised by Category.

If you always want to see the most recent posts, you can change this from your User Preferences page. To make this change, follow the below instructions.

  1. Click on your user profile picture or initial in to top right corner.

  2. Click the little person and then the Preferences option.

  3. Choose Interface on the left side menu

  4. Look for the Default Home Page menu

  5. Choose which option you would like to view. Your options are:
    a. Categories - this is the default and will show you a list of categories
    b. Latest - this will show you the topics, with the ones with the most recent replies and other activity at the top.
    c. New - this will always show you the topics in order of when they were posted, with the most recent at the top.
    d. Unread - this will show you only those topics you haven’t read. If you choose this, you will need to use the buttons at the top to find posts you have already read.
    e. Top - this will show you the posts with the most activity (not just the most recent) at the top

  6. Now click Save Changes (the blue button at the bottom).
