You can manage these settings in two ways: from a person’s profile or directly in your Preferences.
Option 1: From their profile
Visit their profile: Click on the name or picture of the user you want to mute or ignore. This will open their profile page.
Change notification settings: Look for the button that says “Normal” (or has a bell icon) near the top of their profile.

Mute: Stops notifications but doesn’t hide their posts.
Ignore: Hides everything, and you can choose how long to ignore them:
1 day
1 week
1 month
Forever
Option 2: From your Preferences
Go to your Preferences: Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner, then click on the grey person icon on the right-hand side of the menu, then select Preferences.

Who can Ignore?
The Ignore feature is usually available only to all users.Muting is available to everyone
Anyone can mute another user, regardless of their trust level.No notifications
When you mute or ignore someone, they won’t be notified.When to report
If a user’s behaviour violates community guidelines, muting or ignoring them won’t solve the problem for others. Please report them to a moderator for further action.
